At J. Jukuri all hairstylists are all independent contractors. Days and hours worked are all set by the hairstylist and given to J. Jukuri. Hairstylists may book all appointments and/or allow front desk to book appointments as well.
As for professional product use, J. Jukuri is an established Aveda Concept Salon. This means all backbar professional products are Aveda. Intro to Aveda and continued education are available from J. Jukuri. Advanced education is also available at the hairstylist expense.
n the salon, J. Jukuri offers booth rental. This includes a chair, station, shampoo bowl and use of salon dispensary for product/supply storage and preparation for services.
In the spa, J. Jukuri offers a percent rental rate. This includes use of treatment room for services, use of spa dispensary for products/supply storage and preparation for services.

Yes! We want to see our team grow in confidence in their work and this is a great way to expand income as an independent contractor. Please inquire about current product commission rates.
I love the spa and salon environment, but I know nothing about it. Can I still apply for a position?
Absolutely! We love training in individuals who want to be working in this environment.
Our front desk pays an hourly wage and is structured as part or full time.
In fact, we have had several front desk receptionists transition into professional work in both the spa and salon! We have team members with over 20 years of experience in both fields, who share a wealth of knowledge to support you!
Not interested in working professionally in the spa and salon? No problem, our front desk is much appreciated by our team and gets to enjoy our relaxing work environment while supporting our team and clientele.
